Creatives Edition | COSOMA ANNOUNCEMENT

In an effort to continue providing practical support to youth entrepreneurs, Bants2Business is set to launch on a new project B2B: The Creatives Edition. Managed by Bien Corporation Africa, B2B: The Creatives Edition aims at inspiring local creative entrepreneurs across Malawi through a content series, networking events and new media to encourage aspiring creative entrepreneurs to take that leap whilst learning lessons from those who have done it before. Taking insights from creative and business development experts, the platform aims to develop into a resource for young creatives so that they can meet the market’s ever-changing needs packaged in a creative format that entertains whilst informing our target audience.

Continuing from our previous activities in 2021 where we launched the B2B: Creatives Edition through an event, panel discussion and pitch competition, we are now growing the platform to include more podcast episodes focusing on innovation as a catalyst for growth in cultural and creative industries (CCI) in Malawi whilst also adding a newsletter component that will be distributed across our partner networks for free. Our activities will begin in April 2024 with an exclusive event where creatives, entrepreneurs and other partners will be invited to network and contribute to discussions on how innovation and collaboration can foster growth in Malawi’s cultural and creative industries.

The second edition of B2B: Creatives Edition will be supported by a grant awarded through COSOMA’s Copyright Fund and implemented by Bien Corporation Africa in partnership with Kwathu Kollective, Ntha Foundation and the Kwathu Innovation & Creativity Centre (KICC) in Lilongwe.

Bants2Business a product under Bien Corporation Africa is a multi-platform networking forum that connects young creatives, innovators, entrepreneurs and businesses from the global south in various industries to growth opportunities, resources and experience mentorship through innovative events, candid conversations and new media. The forum aims to bring a fresh approach to networking and mentorship for startups and young entrepreneurs in the global south.
